Wet underfloor heating is a low‑temperature hydronic system that relies on a correctly sized manifold, pipe layout and control strategy to deliver comfortable, efficient whole‑floor heating. We design layouts to match the heat loss of each room, set pipe spacing for the chosen floor finish and specify appropriate insulation and screed or low‑build overlay to get the best thermal response. Manifold installation includes flow meters, balancing valves and thermostatic actuators so each zone performs as intended.
Integration with existing or new boilers and smart thermostats is part of the package — our Gas Safe‑qualified engineers ensure correct flow temperatures, mixing and controls to protect floors and boiler efficiency. For renovations we advise on removing or retaining radiators, switching to full UFH or hybrid systems. With 16 years serving across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, BM Plumbing and Heating provides clear schedules, WhatsApp updates and a tidy site on completion.
